Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a
Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and
How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the
Wanganui Conservancy of the Department of Conservation
revokes the reservation over that part of the local purpose
(esplanade) reserve described in the Schedule and declares
that the land may be disposed of by the Stratford District
Council in such manner, at a price and on terms and
conditions as the council determines, the proceeds from sale
to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such money to
be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other
reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards
the purchase of other land for reserve.

Taranaki Land District—Stratford District
173 square metres, being part Lot 34, D.P. 15272, more
particularly delineated as Lot 1, D.P. 326805. Part Computer
Register 49765.

Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a
Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act
1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the
Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of
waahi tapu for the common use and benefit of the Taiwhati
whānau.
