Editorial note:
Clause 3(a) to Standard 1.3.3 permits the use of foods, including water as processing aids. Therefore, plant proteins that are foods are permitted under that Standard, and would also be permitted under this Standard.

Nurses Act 1977

Order of the Nursing Council in Disciplinary Session in Respect of a Registered General and Obstetric Nurse and Midwife

Pursuant to sections 42 (1) (b), 42 (2) (ba), 42 (3) and 48A of the Nurses Act 1977, the Nursing Council of New Zealand (“the council”), in a decision dated 1 March 2004, ordered that conditions be imposed on the midwifery practice of Fetuao Fretton, to be met within six months of the date of the decision.

The council also ordered that Fetuao Fretton pay $\$10,380.00 (being 35%) of the actual costs and expenses of and incidental to the investigation by the preliminary proceedings committee and inquiry by the council, and that a notice stating the effect of the orders be published in the New Zealand Gazette, Kai Tiaki: Nursing New Zealand, the council’s newsletter and released to accredited members of the media with all identifying details of the other health professionals, the institute and client suppressed.
