the Waimea Rural Fire District shall be administered by the
Waimea Rural Fire District Committee.

(2) The committee shall consist of 11 members as follows:

(a) Two persons appointed, in writing, by Carter Holt
Harvey Forests Limited;

(b) two persons appointed, in writing, by Weyerhauser
New Zealand Incorporated;

(c) one person appointed, in writing, by the Tasman
District Council;

(d) one person, resident within the district, selected to
represent the interests of other residents and
ratepayers appointed, in writing, by the Tasman
District Council;

(e) one person appointed, in writing, by the Nelson City
Council;

(f) two persons appointed, in writing, by the
Department of Conservation under the signature of
its Director General;

(g) one person appointed, in writing, by the Nelson
Province of Federated Farmers of New Zealand
Incorporated; and

(h) one person appointed by the New Zealand Fire
Service under the signature of its chief executive.

  1. Restricted Fire Season—The period between 1 October
    in any year and 30 September in the following year
    (both days inclusive) is hereby declared to be a restricted
    fire season in the district.

  2. Schedule—(1) All those parcels above the mean low
    water mark, shown on SO 14951, labelled “Tasman Region”
    and SO 14972, labelled “Nelson City”, lodged in the office
    of the Chief Surveyor, Nelson, as the same as those
    numbered 139 deposited in the office of the New Zealand
    Fire Service in Wellington.

Marlborough North Rural Fire District Notice 1992
Amendment No. 1

Pursuant to section 4 (4) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act
1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the
following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be
    cited as the Marlborough North Rural Fire District Notice
    1992 Amendment No. 1.

(2) This notice comes into force 28 days after publication in
the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Amendment of Rural Fire District Notice—The
    principal notice is hereby amended by:

(a) Amending clause 3 (3) (a) under the Constitution of
the Rural Fire District by replacing the reference
to “Tasman Forestry Limited” with “Weyerhauser
New Zealand Incorporated”.

(b) deleting the Schedule and inserting a new Schedule
as follows:

Marlborough Land District

(1) All that area of the Marlborough District
bounded by the western boundary of the

Marlborough District commencing at its junction
with the sea at Onanga Bay and ending at Trig N,
thence in a south-westerly direction along the
Marlborough-Nelson Land District boundary to the
Wairau River, thence in a north-easterly direction
along the left bank of the Wairau River to its
junction with the sea coast at the Thomas Road
overflow and including all islands adjoining this
section of the sea.”

Securities Markets Act 1988

The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 2004

Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Markets Act 1988,
the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be
    cited as the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 2004.

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of
its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Interpretation—(1) In this notice, unless the context
    otherwise requires:

“Act” means the Securities Markets Act 1988.

“AFS Licence” means an Australian Financial Services
Licence granted under the Corporations Act.

“ASIC” means the Australian Securities and
Investments Commission.

“Corporations Act” means the Corporations Act 2001 of
the Commonwealth of Australia.

“JPMMAPL” means J.P. Morgan Markets Australia
Pty Limited.

“Public Finance Act” means the Public Finance Act
1989 of New Zealand.

“SFE” means Sydney Futures Exchange Limited.

(2) Any term or expression that is not defined in this notice,
but that is defined in the Act, has the meaning given to it by
the Act.

  1. Authorisation—(1) JPMMAPL is authorised to carry on
    the business of dealing in futures contracts generally.

(2) The authorisation is subject to the conditions that
JPMMAPL:

(a) Deals only on behalf of its current wholesale clients
(as at the date of this notice) that are authorised to
deal in derivatives in terms of the Public Finance
Act (where applicable), being clients that are:

(i) registered banks; or

(ii) statutory corporations; and

(b) is a full participant of SFE; and
