Civil Aviation Act 1990

Airworthiness Directives

Pursuant to section 72I (3A) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, I, Geoffrey Neil Connor, Team Leader – Continuing Airworthiness, acting under a delegation from the Director of Civil Aviation, hereby issue the following airworthiness directives in respect of aircraft or aeronautical products:

DCA/DHC-1/138A DCA/DOWTY/1A DCA/JET3100/24

These airworthiness directives shall come into force on 29 April 2004.

Further, in accordance with section 72I (3C) (c), notice is given of the following airworthiness directives:

DCA/HU369/77B came into force on 15 April 2004.
DCA/AS350/79, DCA/AS355/52 and DCA/ABUILT/8 came into force on 22 April 2004.

Airworthiness directives may be viewed on the CAA web site (www.caa.govt.nz) or at Aviation House, 10 Hutt Road, Petone.

Notification of Maritime Rules

Pursuant to section 448 of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, notification is hereby given of the making of maritime rules:

Part 40F—Design, Construction and Equipment–Hovercraft

Part 32 Amendment—Ships’ Personnel–Qualifications, Class 4 Superyacht Certificates

Amendments to Parts 20, 22, 23, 24C, 25, 34, 35, 40A, 40B, 40C, 40D, 42A, 43, 45, 46, 47, 48, 51, 73 and 90

All parts come into force on 27 May 2004.

Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977

Waimea Rural Fire District Abolition Notice 2004

Pursuant to section 4 (4) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Waimea Rural Fire District Abolition Notice 2004.

(2) This notice will come into force 28 days after publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Abolition of Waimea Rural Fire District—The Waimea Rural Fire District is hereby abolished.

3. Revocation of Rural Fire District Notice—The Waimea Rural Fire District Notice 1992* is hereby revoked.

Pursuant to sections 4 (1) and 8 (1) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Waimea Rural Fire District Constitution and Administration Notice 2004.

(2) This notice comes into force 28 days after publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Constitution of the Waimea Rural Fire District—The areas set out in the Schedule to this notice are hereby constituted and declared to be a rural fire district to be known as the Waimea Rural Fire District.

3. Constitution of the Waimea Rural Fire Committee—The Waimea Rural Fire District Committee is hereby constituted as a rural fire committee.

4. Administration of the Waimea Rural Fire District—
