Ngāi Tahu Ancillary Claims Trust—Final List of Owners

The Ngāi Tahu Ancillary Claims Trust has applied to the Māori Land Court in Christchurch for approval of the final list of owners for the following claims:

Claim No. 7 Te Ihutai

Lot 1, Deposited Plan 302588, C.T. 9993, area 4.0030 hectares, near Saltwater Creek and Ashley River mouth, North Canterbury.

Claim No. 14 Hawea

Bushy Point:

Lot 1, Deposited Plan 300558, C.T. 2939, area 13.5311 hectares, at Lake Hawea.

Lake Side Sites:

Lots 1 and 2, L.T. 321020, C.T. 83394 and 83395, area 1.9441 hectares;
Lot 3, L.T. 321020, C.T. 83396, area 7883 square metres; and
Lot 4, L.T. 321020, C.T. 83397, area 3.8268 hectares;
all at Lake Hawea.

Claim No. 61 Waimumu

Lots 1, 3 and 4, Deposited Plan 8310, C.T. 12B/391, area 226.8996 hectares and Lot 2, Deposited Plan 8310, C.T. 5A/563, area 13.8040 hectares, Hedgehope Hill Road.

A copy of the final list may be inspected at any office of Te Puni Kōkiri, any Māori Land Court or at all Papatipu Marae in the South Island.

Any person who wishes to object to the final list must do so in writing to the Māori Land Court, P.O. Box 2200, Christchurch or by facsimile on (03) 962 4901 by 28 April 2004.

Land Set Apart for Sewage Treatment Purposes—Otematata

Pursuant to sections 20 and 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Arthur Ross Marbeck, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be set apart for sewage treatment purposes and shall become vested, subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987, in the Waitaki District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land to be Set Apart for Railway Purposes, Granting Easements Over Land at Rogers Street, and a Restrictive Covenant Over Land at Gills Road, Hinds

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Arthur Ross Marbeck, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Declares that, pursuant to section 52, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is to be set apart for railway purposes and to remain vested in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette; and

(b) Declares that, pursuant to section 48, the land described as Section 2, S.O. Plan 327309 in the First Schedule to this notice is subject to the following easements in gross in perpetuity shown on S.O. Plan 327309 as:

(i) right of way marked "A" and "B", right to convey electric power marked "C" and "D" and a right to convey water marked "L", all in favour of New Zealand Railways Corporation;

(ii) a right to convey water marked "E" and "F" in favour of Ashburton District Council; and

(iii) a right to convey telecommunications marked "H", "A", "I", "C", "J", "E" and "K" in favour of Telecom New Zealand Limited,
