Amendment

Title—(1) This amendment is the Special Transfer Allowance Amendment 2004.
(2) In this amendment, the Special Transfer Allowance Programme 2000 is called "the programme".

Commencement—This amendment comes into effect on 1 April 2004.

Increasing average regional rentals—The Schedule of the programme is amended by omitting the expressions "154", "128", "91", "201", "158" and "132", and substituting respectively the expressions "179", "136", "102", "229", "167" and "148".
Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the amendment, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This amendment, which comes into effect on 1 April 2004, increases the average regional rentals set out in the Schedule of the Special Transfer Allowance Programme 2000 to reflect movements in rentals.

New Employment Transition Grant Amendment 2004
Pursuant to section 124 (1) (d) of the Social Security Act 1964, the Minister for Social Development and Employment establishes and approves the following amendment to the New Employment Transition Grant Programme (as established and approved on 9 December 1998).

(2) In this amendment, the New Employment Transition Grant Programme is called "the programme".

Commencement—This amendment comes into effect on 1 April 2004.

Increasing rates of grants—(1) Clause 5.1.1 of the programme is amended by omitting the expression "$51.50" and substituting the expression "$52.50".
(2) Clause 5.2 of the programme is amended by omitting the expression "$515" and substituting the expression "$525".
Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the amendment, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This amendment increases the daily rate and the maximum amount of a Transition Grant payable in the 6-month period of eligibility to take account of a CPI increase of 1.55%. The increases come into effect on 1 April 2004.\n

Training Incentive Allowance Amendment 2004
Pursuant to section 124 (1) (d) of the Social Security Act 1964, the Minister for Social Development and Employment establishes and approves the following amendment to the Training Incentive Allowance Programme (as established and approved on 30 November 1998).

Increasing weekly rate and yearly limit of allowance—(1) Clause 6.1.1 of the programme is amended by omitting the expressions "$81.98" and "$3,279.20" and substituting respectively the expressions "$83.25" and "$3,330.00".
(2) Clause 6.4.2 of the programme is amended by omitting the expression "$3,279.20" and substituting the expression "$3,330.00".

This note is not part of the amendment, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This amendment to the Training Incentive Allowance Programme increases the weekly rate and the maximum annual amount of a Training Incentive Allowance to take account of a CPI increase of 1.55% with effect on 1 April 2004.

I, John Henry Whitehead, Secretary to the Treasury, hereby give notice that on 5 February 2004, I first became aware that the Crown was vested under section 324 (1) of the Companies Act 1993 (by virtue of the removal of Manukau Power Limited from the Register of Companies on 21 July 2000 pursuant to section 318 the Companies Act 1993) with rights as grantee under memorandum of transfer C. 548464.22, North Auckland Land Registry, which transfer created an electricity easement in gross over the land herein marked "L" on Deposited Plan 156744, registered against certificate of title NA117A/172, North Auckland Land Registry.
