Grey Duck, Mallard Duck and Shoveler Duck, a maximum total aggregate bag not exceeding 50 birds for all those species including hybrids combined, except that within the aggregate bag a limit of 5 Grey Duck and 2 Shoveler Duck must apply.

Definition of Areas
Area A: All that part of the region encompassing Lake Wainono and Wainono Reserve and bounded to the north by Hook Beach Road, the west by State Highway No. 1, the south by Poingdestres Road and the east by the Pacific Ocean.
Area B: That part of the bed of the Waitaki River between Lake Waitaki Dam and the sea.
Area C: That part of the region not included in Area A and Area B.
