Declaring State Highway to be Limited Access Road—Central Otago

It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated
11 February 2004 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the
Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares those
parts of State highway described in the Schedule hereto, and
as more particularly shown on Plans LA/13/006/956/B/1
and LA/13/006/901/A/1 to LA/13/006/901/A/18 and
accompanying Schedules held in the office of the Regional
Manager, Transit New Zealand, Dunedin, and there available
for public inspection, to be limited access road.

Schedule

(a) In Queenstown Lakes and Central Otago districts,
that section of State Highway No. 6 in the Kawarau Gorge
commencing at the Gentle Annie Bridge and proceeding in
a generally south-westerly direction to Nevis Bluff (Route
Position 956/4.45 to Route Position 956/12.96); a distance
of 8.5 kilometres.

(b) In Queenstown Lakes and Central Otago districts,
that section of State Highway No. 6 at Luggate from
the intersection of State Highway No. 8A and proceeding
generally in a south-easterly direction to Gravelly Gully
(Route Position 901/0.00 to Route Position 918/5.60);
a distance of 18.5 kilometres.

Land Acquired for Drainage Purposes and Road Stopped and Amalgamated—Pipiwai Road, Springs Flat, Whangarei District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation
from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland,
Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the land described in
the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for
drainage purposes and is vested in the Whangarei District
Council on the date of publication of this notice in the
New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the
portion of road described in the Second Schedule to
this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3),
amalgamated with the land in Computer Register
NA9D/489, subject to memorandum of mortgage 5682913.3.
