Classification of Reserve

Manager of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of
Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule
as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section
19 (1) (a) of the Act.

Declaring Land to be Recreation Reserve and Reclassification of Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Tauranga City Council:

(a) In exercise of the powers conferred on it by
delegation under section 14 (4) of the Reserves Act 1977,
notifies the following resolution passed by the council on
7 October 2002:

“That acting pursuant to section 14 (1) of the Reserves
Act 1977, Tauranga City Council resolves that the land
held in fee simple by the Council, and described in the
First Schedule below, is hereby declared to be a recreation
reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

(b) Under section 24A of the said Act, hereby reclassifies
the land set out in the Second Schedule below as local
purpose (recreational and educational arts use) reserve within
the meaning of the said Act.
