Designation and Classification of Airspace—Civil Aviation Rule Part 71

Pursuant to Civil Aviation Rule Part 71.9 (d), made by the Ministry of Transport pursuant to Part III of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the following amendments are designated with effect from 25 November 2004—

New Zealand Flight Information Region

● The following military operations areas are disestablished:

Karioi Forest (NZM 310).

● The following military operations areas have lateral or vertical boundary amendments:

Kaipara (NZM 106), Ohakea (NZM 303), Pahiatua (NZM 505).

● The following danger areas are disestablished:

Orere Point (NZD 238), Volkner Island (NZD 224), Ngamatea Swamp (NZD 325), Centennial Park (NZD 425), Stockton (NZD 721).

● The following danger area has an upper limit amendment:

Otahuhu (NZD 120).

● The following new danger areas are established:

Kaiaua (NZD 229), Centennial Park (NZD 426), NZD 720 (Stockton).

● The following volcanic hazard zones have alphanumeric code changes (in brackets):

NZC 215 (White Island, NZV 215), NZC 313 (Mt Ngauruhoe, NZV 313), NZC 314 (Mt Ruapehu, NZV 314).

● The following controlled airspace has boundary amendments (new alphanumeric codes in brackets):

● The following new VFR transit lane is established:

NZT 259 (Lake Rotoroa).

● The following VFR transit lanes have new alphanumeric codes (in brackets):
