Summary of Exemptions Granted by the Director of Civil Aviation
In accordance with section 37 (3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given that the Director of Civil Aviation has granted the following exemptions from the Civil Aviation Rule requirements:

4/EXE/1:
65.309 (a) – recent experience requirements.
4/EXE/54:
133.69 (1) (iv) – requirements for operations over congested areas.
4/EXE/67, 4/EXE/84, 4/EXE/85, 4/EXE/86, 4/EXE/87 and 4/EXE/88:
61.35 (a) (1) – requirement to hold a current medical certificate issued under the Act.
5/EXE/8:
135.369 – requirement for flight data recorder.
The notice of the grant, withdrawal or denial of exemptions with provisos is published in the Civil Aviation Rules Register Information Leaflet (CARRIL).
For the provisos, refer to CARRIL dated 2 September 2004.

Electricity (Levy of Industry Participants) Regulations 2004
Notice of Annual Levy Rates for the Financial Year Ending 30 June 2005
This notice of the annual levy rates for the financial year ending 30 June 2005, pursuant to Regulation 8 of the Electricity (Levy of Industry Participants) Regulations 2004 ("Regulations"), is issued by the Electricity Commission, formally constituted as the Electricity Governance Board ("Commission").
The Regulations came into force on 17 June 2004.
The Regulations impose levies on generators, purchasers and line owners for the costs of performing the Commission’s functions and duties and exercising the Commission’s powers under the Electricity Act 1992.
Regulation 7 specifies how the Commission must calculate the annual levy rates.
Annual Levy Rates for the Financial Year Ending 30 June 2005.
The Commission has calculated the annual levy rates for the financial year ending 30 June 2005 in accordance with Regulation 7.
The annual levy rates for that period are as follows:
