Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Act 2001

Notice of Proposal to Recommend Changes to the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation (Liability to Pay or Contribute to Cost of Treatment) Regulations 2003

Pursuant to section 324 of the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Act 2001, the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) gives notice of its intention to recommend to the Minister for ACC that changes be made to the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation (Liability to Pay or Contribute to Cost of Treatment) Regulations 2003.

A period of public consultation on the proposed Regulations is also notified and details are given below:

  1. An explanation of ACC’s proposal to recommend that such Regulations be made, as well as the proposed Regulations, are contained in the document titled Cost of Treatment Regulations Consultation Document (Changes to Dental Payments). The document may be obtained:
    ● by telephone on 0800 433 411 or
    ● by emailing treatment.costs@acc.co.nz or
    ● from the ACC web site www.acc.co.nz or
    ● by writing to Dental Treatment Costs Consultation, Strategy and Policy, ACC, P.O. Box 242, Wellington.

  2. Written submissions on the proposed Regulations are invited from members of the public and interested organisations.

  3. The last date on which ACC will receive written submissions on the proposed Regulations is 1 October 2004.

  4. Submissions are to be forwarded to:
    Dental Treatment Costs Consultation, Strategy and Policy, ACC, P.O. Box 242, Wellington.

Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997

Notice of Application to Vary the Conditions of a Registered Trade Name Product (Notice No. 1355)

Pursuant to section 14 (1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, the Director-General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry hereby gives notice that the following application has been made to vary the conditions of a registered trade name product under section 9 (2) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines (ACVM) Act 1997:

Trade Name: Folicur WG

Reference: P4778

Active Ingredient and Concentration: Tebuconazole 92%

Proposed Variation to Conditions: For the control of brown rot in summer fruit.

Any person may make a written submission to the Director-General under section 17 of the ACVM Act 1997 concerning the application notified above.

Such submissions:

(a) must state in full the reasons for making the submission;

(b) may state any decision sought on that application;

(c) must be received by the Director-General no later than 30 working days after the date of notification in this New Zealand Gazette; and

(d) should be forwarded to the address given below.

A copy of every submission will be forwarded to the applicant for their information.

A copy of the public information on the application may be obtained from ACVM Group, New Zealand Food Safety Authority, P.O. Box 2835, Wellington.

Amendment to Food Standard (Notice No. 1354)

Pursuant to section 11G of the Food Act 1981, notice is given that the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Food Standards 2004, Amendment No. 2 was issued by the Minister for Food Safety on 10 August 2004, and comes into force 28 days following publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

This food standard can be viewed on the New Zealand Food Safety Authority web site:

or can be inspected free of charge at the New Zealand Food Safety Authority, 86 Jervois Quay, Wellington, or purchased from Bennetts or Whitcoulls bookshops.
