Meat Board Act 2004
Corrigendum—Quota Schedule of Fees—European Union Sheepmeat and Goatmeat Tariff Rate Quota
(226,700 tonnes carcass weight equivalent), European Union High Quality Beef Tariff Rate Quota (300
tonnes product weight) and United States Beef and Veal Tariff Rate Quota (213,402 tonnes product weight)
The New Zealand Meat Board has completed its consultation on fees to be charged in relation to its Quota Allocation Systems
(in terms of section 36 (3) of the Meat Board Act 2004) being European Union Sheepmeat and Goatmeat Tariff Rate Quota,
European Union High Quality Beef Tariff Rate Quota and United States Beef and Veal Tariff Rate Quota.
The board has agreed that the following fees will be set in relation to the existing allocation systems, which will remain in
operation subject to the following changes in the European Union Sheepmeat and Goatmeat, European Union High Quality
Beef and United States Beef and Veal Quota Manuals:
Section 13: General Quota Allowance: Procedures
A Administration:
Paragraph 2 (b) “application fee” be replaced by “participation fee”
Section 14: New Entrant Allowances Committee
C Procedure for Applications:
Paragraph 2 (b) is replaced with “be accompanied by an application fee and participation fee set by the board. In
the event that an application is unsuccessful, the participation fee will be refunded to the New
Entrant.”
Section 17 Appendix Three is amended as follows:
