Notice of Application for Approval of a Scheme

In the High Court of New Zealand, Wanganui Registry

In the matter of a charitable trust, under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, and in the matter of an application by Desmond Robert Campbell as secretary/treasurer of the Margaret Watt Children’s Home Trust Board and authorised by the trustees for consent to a scheme for variation of a charitable trust declared by the will of William Hogg Watt, of Wanganui, gentleman, deceased.

Notice of application for approval of a scheme under Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957.

Notice is given that D. R. Campbell, authorised by the trustees of the will of William Hogg Watt, late of Wanganui, gentleman, deceased, has filed in the office of the High Court at Wanganui an application for approval of a scheme varying the terms of the will dated the 2nd day of February 1888, and the trust deed which superseded dated the 5th day of May 1989, under which the Margaret Watt Children’s Home is held. Under the deed, the Margaret Watt Home is to be held on trust as a home for the benefit of accommodating orphans between the ages of five and 15.

Under the proposed scheme, it is proposed that the trustees vary the trust deed by deleting clauses 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15 and substituting the following clauses:
