Vesting Reserve in Queenstown Lakes District Council

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of
Conservation vests the reserve described in the Schedule
in the Queenstown Lakes District Council in trust for
recreation purposes.

Arrowtown.

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason
of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the
Conservator revokes the notice headed Classification of
Reserve dated the 12th day of June 2003 and published in
New Zealand Gazette, 19 June 2003, No. 67, page 1816, and
issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Classification of Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the West
Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation
classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a local
purpose (hall site) reserve.

1264 square metres, more or less, being Reserve 1952.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

In exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegation
under the Reserves Act 1977, the Invercargill City Council
notifies the following resolution passed by the council on
8 July 2003:

“That under section 14 of the Act, the Invercargill City
Council resolves to declare those pieces of land held in
fee simple by the council and described in the First
Schedule be declared to be scenic reserve and the land
held in fee simple by the council and described in the
Second Schedule be declared to be recreation reserve,
subject to the provision of the Act.”
