Conservation Act 1987

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Conservation Area and Issue of Fresh Notice

Under section 50A of the Conservation Act 1987, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Community Relations Manager revokes the notice headed Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes dated the 13th day of June 2003 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 19 June 2003, No. 67, page 1814, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Under section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Community Relations Manager for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes.

Schedule

Otago Land District—Queenstown Lakes District

40.826 hectares, more or less, being part Section 118, Block XX, Shotover Survey District.

Land Act 1948

Revocation of a Notice Relating to Reservation of Land and Issue of a Fresh Notice

By reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Conservator for the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the notice headed Reservation of Land and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 13 March 2003, No. 25, page 739, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Reservation of Land

Under the Land Act 1948, the Conservator for the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation sets apart the land described in the Schedule as a recreation reserve subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.

Schedule

Wellington Land District—Masterton District

6.2650 hectares, more or less, being Section 148, Masterton Small Farms Settlement (part certificate of title WN455/219).

7.0041 hectares, more or less, being part Lot 3, D.P. 4084 (part certificate of title WN455/219).

Public Works Act 1981

Land Set Apart, Land Acquired, and Road to be Stopped and Vested in the Crown for Flood Control Purposes—Alexandra

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Roger Kenneth McLeod, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is acquired for flood control purposes and shall vest in the Crown as Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 52, declares the portion of land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be set apart for flood control purposes and, pursuant to section 50, shall vest in the Crown as Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 52, declares the portions of road described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and set apart for flood control purposes and, pursuant to section 50, shall vest in the Crown as Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
