The Traffic (Kapiti Coast District) Notice 2003
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Kapiti Coast District) Notice 2003.

Those localities and roads within markings identified in the legends of and appearing on the plans numbered:
(i) LT0343/1 (1 of 3), entitled “Kapiti Coast District Roading Speed Restrictions at Paraparaumu”; and
(ii) LT0343/1 (2 of 3), entitled “Kapiti Coast District Roading Speed Restrictions at Waikanae/Peka Peka/Paekakariki”; and
(iii) LT0343/1 (3 of 3), entitled “Kapiti Coast District Roading Speed Restrictions at Otaki/Te Horo”; and held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, are declared to be:(a) closely populated localities, pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962; or
(b) excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of that Act, and declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976; or
(c) 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976; or
(d) excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of that Act;as may be ascertained from the legends.
The plans and legends are hereby incorporated in this notice.

The following notices are revoked:
The Traffic (Kapiti Coast District, All Wards Excluding Otaki Ward) Notice No. 1, 1991;
The Traffic (Kapiti Coast District – Otaki Ward) Notice No. 1, 1992; and

The Traffic (Ashburton District) Notice No. 3, 2003
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ashburton District) Notice No. 3, 2003.

(1) The area specified in the Schedule is declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
(2) The Traffic (Ashburton District) Notice No. 2, 2003* is revoked.
Schedule
Situated within the Ashburton District at Lake Hood:
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the southern side of Huntingdon Avenue 700 metres measured easterly, generally along Huntingdon Avenue from Stranges Road; thence across Huntingdon Avenue at right angles from its southern side to its northern side; thence due north for 110 metres; thence due east for 190 metres; thence due south for 170 metres; thence due west to a point due south of the commencing point; thence due north to the commencing point.

Securities Markets Act 1988
The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 2) 2003
Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Markets Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.
Notice

Title, commencement and expiry—(1) This notice is the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 2) 2003.
(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
(3) This notice expires on the close of 30 June 2008. -
Interpretation—(1) In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires:
“Act” means the Securities Markets Act 1988.
“Exchange” means the New Zealand Futures and Options Exchange Limited.
“MSPIL” means Macquarie Structured Products (International) Limited (ABN 71 065 747 417).
“MBL” means Macquarie Bank Limited (ABN 008 583 542).(2) Any term or expression that is defined in the Act and used, but not defined, in the notice has the same meaning as in the Act.

Authorisation—(1) MSPIL is authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts other than futures contracts made on or effected through the Exchange or a futures exchange in a country other than New Zealand which is authorised by the laws of that country to operate as a futures exchange.
(2) The authorisation applies only to dealing in futures contracts described in subclause (1) to which MBL is or intends to be a party.
