Redefining the Purposes of a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (5) (c) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the area of the Māori reservation as set out in the notice dated the 15th day of June 2000, published in New Zealand Gazette, 13 July 2000, No. 78, page 1902, be redefined from 300 square metres to 30 square metres as shown in the Schedule to this notice.

All that piece of land situated in Block III, Otanake Survey District and described as follows:

Being

Part Pukenui B38A, as comprised in Computer Register or Identifier SA1A/1197, South Auckland Land Registration District.

Redefining the Purposes for Which the Reservation is Made

Pursuant to section 338 (5) (c) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the persons for whose use and benefit the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto has been set apart as a Māori reservation by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 18 April 1996, No. 36, page 1068, is hereby redefined as being for the purpose of a marae.

All that piece of land situated in Block II, Whangaruru Survey District and described as follows:

Being

All the land contained in the partition order of the Māori Land Court dated 11 September 1989 and known as Ohawini C1A.

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a landing site, access area, camping site and as a place of cultural, historical and scenic interest for the common use and benefit of the proprietors of Ruahine and Kuharua Blocks.

All that piece of land situated in Blocks VII and XI, Rotoiti Survey District and described as follows:

Being

Kuharua 2B1 and being part of the Māori freehold land known as part Kuharua 2B Block, more or less, situated in Blocks VII and XI, Rotoiti Survey Districts, containing 62.8400 hectares, more or less, being all the land contained on certificate of title Volume 37D, folio 258, South Auckland Land Registry.

Redefining the Purposes of a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (5) (c) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the purposes for which the Māori reservation in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto was created by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 31 January 1991, No. 31, page 337, are hereby redefined for the purposes of a marae, papakainga and an urupā for the common use and benefit of the Ngāti Manomano hāpu.
