Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (i) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 21 December 2001, which was granted under those Regulations to Aufai Pio in respect of Kokiri Metotisi Aoga Amata (60358), situated at 61 Kokiri Crescent, Waitangirua, Porirua.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreements

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that supplementary integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietors of the following schools:

St Mary’s School, Carterton.
St Anthony’s School, Seatoun.

The said supplementary integration agreements were executed on 15 May 2003.

Copies of the supplementary integration agreements are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the regional office of the Ministry of Education, 65 Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt.

Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999

Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 40) 2003 (No. F248)

Pursuant to Regulation 10 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999, and acting under delegated authority, the Associate Minister of Fisheries hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 40) 2003.

(2) This notice shall come into effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Interpretation—In this notice:

(a) “customary food gathering” has the same meaning as defined in the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999.

(b) Any reference to “Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki” means the person or persons appointed under Regulation 9 or 10 of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999 as Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki for a general customary food gathering area/rohe moana.

(c) Any reference to “area/rohe moana” of Hokonui Rūnanga Incorporated Society (“Hokonui Rūnaka”) means the area/rohe moana from Piopiotahi (Milford Sound) to Tokatā (The Nuggets). The area/rohe
