Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997

Notice of Intention to Make a Recommendation

Under Section 82 (2) of the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997

Pursuant to section 75 of the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997 (“the Act”), I give notice of my intention to make a recommendation to the Governor-General, under section 82 (2), to make Regulations extending the exemption period referred to in section 82 (1) of the Act for a period of 12 months from 1 May 2003 in relation to the laws, and the provisions of the laws, specified or described in Schedule 3 of the Act.

The making of such a recommendation is subject to my being satisfied, as required by section 82 (2) of the Act, that no fewer than two-thirds of the participating jurisdictions have endorsed the terms of the proposed Regulations.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (i) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 10 April 2002, which was granted under those Regulations to Alison Cooper in respect of Pukemaori Playcentre (90016), situated at Otautau-Tuatapere Road, Pukemaori, Southland.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

St Paul’s School, Richmond.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on 17 March 2003.

A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member.
