With this publication such societies are revived from the date of their dissolution (noted above) as if no dissolution had taken place.

Notice of Advertisement of Proposal by Insolvent Person

In the matter of a proposal under Part XV of the Insolvency Act 1967, made by Marcus Julian Friedlander, an insolvent:

Take notice that Marcus Julian Friedlander, company director of Auckland, has filed a proposal under Part XV of the Insolvency Act 1967 in the office of the High Court at Auckland.

A meeting of the creditors of the insolvent will be held at the offices of Meltzer Mason Heath, Level Five, Ace Insurance Building, 345 Queen Street, Auckland, on the 27th day of March 2003 at 10.00 o’clock in the forenoon.

Alpha Club New Zealand Limited (“the company”)

Distribution of Secured Funds

Pursuant to Court Directions Under Section 43 of the Fair Trading Act 1986

The company has been held to be operating a pyramid scheme under section 24 of the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Subject to court directions on the 12th day of February 2003, Justice Venning ordered Gosling Chapman Limited, Chartered Accountants, to manage the disbursement to those members (claimants) who contributed to the company after the 20th day of December 1999.

The eligible claimants are entitled to a partial distribution of the membership fee paid.

Correspondence has been sent, on the 14th day of February 2003, to all known claimants who joined the club from the 20th day of December 1999, based upon contact lists provided by the company.

The mailing address used for this correspondence is as provided to the company at the time the membership fees were paid.

Outlined in this correspondence is the claim procedure and expected payment details.

Closing date for claimants is the 11th day of April 2003.
