Mana Motuhake O Aotearoa
to
Mana Māori Motuhake
and to amend the Register of Political Parties accordingly.

Legal Services Act 2000
Legal Services Agency—Police Detention Legal Assistance Scheme
The Legal Services Agency is required to administer the Police Detention Legal Assistance Scheme for persons detained or questioned by the Police in accordance with sections 49 to 52 of the Legal Services Act 2000 including any regulations made under it.
The agency gives notice that it will revoke on the 17 March 2003, the former Legal Services Board instructions of 1994 and 1994 Amendment No. 1, for the Police Detention Legal Assistance Scheme.
The revoked instructions are replaced with the Policy for the Police Detention Legal Assistance Scheme.
The principal changes from the Legal Services Board Instructions are to the:
- reimbursement for travel;
- reimbursement for both telephone and attendance in person, in certain circumstances;
- provision of payment for a suitably qualified interpreter to assist the Police Detention Legal Assistance provider in certain circumstances; and
- night rate hours applicable for Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
The agency’s provider manual will be amended to reflect the changes.
Copies of the Policy for the Police Detention Assistance Scheme have been sent to all current listed providers, further copies are available from the agency or from the agency web site at:

Waipori Rural Fire District Abolition Notice 2003
Pursuant to section 4 (4) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Waipori Rural Fire District Abolition Notice 2003.
(2) This notice will come into force on 1 October 2003.

Abolition of Waipori Rural Fire District—The Waipori Rural Fire District is hereby abolished.

Revocation of Rural Fire District Notice—The Waipori Rural Fire District Notice 1991* is hereby revoked.

Pursuant to sections 4 (1) and 8 (1) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.

- Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Tekapo Military Training Area Defence Rural Fire District Constitution and Administration Notice 2003.
(2) This notice comes into force on 1 April 2003.

Constitution of the Tekapo Military Training Area Defence Rural Fire District—The areas set out in the Schedule to this notice are hereby constituted and declared to be a rural fire district to be known as the Tekapo Military Training Area Defence Rural Fire District.

The Fire Authority for the Tekapo Military Training Area Defence Rural Fire District—For the purposes of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the Minister of Defence is the Fire Authority for the Tekapo Military Training Area Defence Rural Fire District.

All those parcels containing 8117.4129 hectares, more or less, as shown on S.O. Plan 300986, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Canterbury (for ease of reference that land is also shown on plans numbered NRFA 136 deposited in the National Headquarters of the New Zealand Fire Service at Wellington).
