The Resource Management (Approval of Barrhill Chertsey Irrigation Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 2003
Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment hereby gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Barrhill Chertsey Irrigation Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 2003.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Approval as requiring authority—Barrhill Chertsey Irrigation Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority, under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, in respect of the particular project or work described in clause 3, being the Barrhill Chertsey Irrigation Scheme.

Barrhill Chertsey Irrigation Scheme—The particular project or work for which this approval is granted is:
(a) distribution (including associated intake, conveyance, storage and discharge for distribution) of water for supply in the Barrhill-Chertsey area; and
(b) associated construction and operation, repair, maintenance and upgrading of roads; and
(c) operation, erection, installation, replacement, alteration, improvement, removal and other use of land (within the meaning of section 9(4) of the Resource Management Act 1991), in respect of the distribution of water for supply.

Pursuant to Regulation 6 (2) of the Fisheries (South Tasman Rise Orange Roughy Fishery) Regulations 2000, the chief executive of the Ministry of Fisheries hereby makes the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Fisheries (South Tasman Rise Orange Roughy Fishery Annual Catch Limit) Notice 2003.
(2) This notice comes into effect on the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Interpretation—Terms used in this notice have the same meaning as defined in the Fisheries (South Tasman Rise Orange Roughy Fishery) Regulations 2000.

Annual catch limit—The annual catch limit for the high seas area of the South Tasman Rise orange roughy fishery for the season starting 1 March 2003 is 350 greenweight tonnes.
