Civil Aviation Rules
In accordance with section 34 (2) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notice is hereby given that the Associate Minister of Transport signed the following Civil Aviation Rules on 20 November 2003 which will come into force on 9 January 2004:
Part 93—Special Aerodrome Traffic Rules and Noise Abatement Procedures, Amendment 2 (CAA Docket 3/CAR/2 – Right-Hand Aerodrome Traffic Circuits).
These ordinary rules are available for inspection at the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand, 10 Hutt Road, Petone. Postal Address: P.O. Box 31-441, Lower Hutt.

The Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice 2003
Pursuant to sections 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice 2003.

The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The Traffic (Malvern County) Notice No. 1, 1977, dated the 28th day of February 1977* issued pursuant Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.

Situated within the Selwyn District at Glentunnel:
Albert Street.
Charles Street.
Elizabeth Street.
Glentunnel Domain Road.
Philip Street.
Railway Terrace.
Union Street.
Victoria Street.
Whitecliffs Road: From State Highway No. 77 to a point 150 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from State Highway No. 77.

The Traffic (New Plymouth District) Notice No. 2, 2003
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (New Plymouth District) Notice No. 2, 2003.

Those localities and roads within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on plans numbered:
LT0 332/1A, entitled “Speed Restrictions New Plymouth City (incl. Bell Block)”; and
LT0 332/2A, entitled “Speed Restrictions – Details New Plymouth City (incl. Bell Block)”; and held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority are declared to be:
(a) closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962; or
(b) 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 as may be ascertained from the legends. The plans and legends are hereby incorporated into this notice.
- The Traffic (New Plymouth District) Notice 2003* is partly revoked by revoking the following two plans which were signed on 11 September 2003:
LT0332/1, entitled “Speed Restrictions New Plymouth City (incl. Bell Block)”; and
LT0332/2, entitled “Speed restrictions – Details New Plymouth City (incl. Bell Block)”.
