Tertiary Education Commission (Membership) Notice 2003—Appointments

Pursuant to clauses 2(1), 3 and 25 of Schedule 13A of the Education Act 1989 (as inserted by Schedule 1 of the Education (Tertiary Reform) Amendment Act 2002), the Associate Minister of Education (Tertiary Education) gives the following notice.

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as the Tertiary Education Commission (Membership) Notice 2003.

2. This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

3. I appoint

Andrew West
Kaye Turner
Tina Olsen-Ratana
Jim Donovan
Andrew Little
Shona Butterfield
Ian Smith
John Blakey

to be members of the Tertiary Education Commission.

4. Further, I appoint

Andrew West

as the chairperson of the Tertiary Education Commission;
and appoint

Kaye Turner

as the deputy chairperson of the Tertiary Education Commission.

5. The appointments take effect from the day after the date of the publication of this notice and expire on 31 December 2005.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

St Patrick’s School, Taupo.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on 12 February 2003.

A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the regional office of the Ministry of Education, corner of Grey and Bridge Streets, Hamilton.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (i) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 24 November 2002, which was granted under those Regulations to Girlie Margaret Marino in respect of Te Kohanga Reo o Kaiputahi (55202), situated at 280 Rutene Road, Gisborne.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
