Commodity Levies Act 1990

Annual Levy Prescribed Under Commodity Levies (Eggs) Order 1999

Pursuant to section 4 of the Commodity Levies Act 1990 and section 10 of the Commodity Levies (Eggs) Order 1999 and on the recommendation of the 2003 Annual General Meeting of the Egg Producers Federation of New Zealand Incorporated, I hereby prescribe an annual levy of 35 cents per chick on the basis of the sale of chicks to producers by hatcheries during the year 1 January 2004 to 31 December 2004.

This notice will take effect on 1 January 2004.

Nursing Council of New Zealand

Nurses Act 1977

Order of the Nursing Council in Disciplinary Session in Respect of Todd Dennis Baker, Registered Comprehensive Nurse

After due inquiry and in exercise of its powers under sections 42 (1) (a), 42 (2) (a), 42 (3), 42 (9) and 48A of the Nurses Act 1977 (“the Act”), the Nursing Council of New Zealand (“the council”), in a decision dated 24 February 2003, ordered that comprehensive nurse Todd Dennis Baker’s name be removed from the Register and that he may apply for reinstatement after a period of two years.

The council also ordered that Todd Dennis Baker pay $660.00 towards the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the council, that a notice stating the effect of these orders be published in the New Zealand Gazette, Kai Tiaki: Nursing New Zealand, the Nursing Review, the council’s newsletter and made available to accredited members of the media, and that he return to the Registrar his registration certificate and badge issued to him under the Act.
