Charitable Trusts Act Notices

Application for Scheme of Variation of Charitable Trust Created by the Will of James Dawson Bashford

Take notice that the Sedgley Family Centre (Diocese of Wellington) Trust Board will make application to the High Court at Wellington on the 18th day of November 2003 at 2.15 p.m., for a scheme of variation of a charitable trust created by the will of James Dawson Bashford in the following ways:

(a) That grants be permitted both males and females who otherwise qualify; and

(b) that the qualifying age of the recipients for grants be extended from the age of majority (20 years) up to and including 30 years of age.

Any person desiring to oppose the application is required to give written notice of his/her intention to do so to the Registrar of the High Court and the Attorney-General not less than seven clear days before the 18th day of November 2003.

This notice is advertised in accordance with section 36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957.
