Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993
Change of Classification of a Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Conservator for the
Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation
changes the classification of the reserve described in the
Schedule hereto from a recreation reserve to a local purpose
(community use and access way) reserve, subject to the
provisions of the said Act.

567 square metres, being Lot 26, Block A, D.P. 1543
(C.T. WN45C/300).

Classification of Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager for the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation hereby classifies the reserve described in
the Schedule as a Government purpose (wildlife refuge)
reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act.
Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act
1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the
Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a
urupa (burial ground) for the common use and benefit of
Ngati Hinekura.
