Civil Aviation Act 1990
Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (Functions and Duties) Notice 2003
Pursuant to section 72B (3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the Minister of Transport gives the following notice.
Notice

Title—This notice is the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (Functions and Duties) Notice 2003.

Commencement—This notice comes into force on 3 October 2003.

Application—This notice applies to the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (which is established under section 72A of the Civil Aviation Act 1990).

Additional functions and duties—The Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand is empowered to carry out civil aviation functions and civil aviation duties necessary for the purpose of:
the administration of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 for the civil aviation sector in accordance with the Prime Minister’s designation of 5 May 2003, under section 28B (1) of that Act.

Conservation Act 1987
Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes and Declaration that the Area Become a Reserve
Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Community Relations Manager for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes, and further declares that the conservation area be set apart as a reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a Government purpose (wildlife management) reserve subject to the provisions of the latter Act.
