Medical Auxiliaries Act 1966

Notice of Prescribed Fees for Matters Relating to the Medical Auxiliaries Act 1966

The Medical Laboratory Technologists Board prescribes the following fees payable (all inclusive of G.S.T.).

This notice is given under the authority of section 36 of the Medical Auxiliaries Act 1966 (“the Act”) and shall come into force on 3 March 2003.

A. Registration Fees

Application for registration under section 14 of the Act shall be $180.00 for a person holding a tertiary educational qualification gained in New Zealand.

Application for registration under section 14 of the Act shall be $380.00 for a person holding educational qualifications gained elsewhere than in New Zealand.

Issue of a certificate of registration under section 19 of the Act shall be $30.00.

B. Register of Medical Laboratory Technologists Fees

Restoration of a name to the Register of Medical Laboratory Technologists under section 21 of the Act shall be $55.00.

Inspection of the Register of Medical Laboratory Technologists under section 24 of the Act shall be $30.00.

C. Annual Licence Fees

Issue of an annual licence shall be $135.00.

D. Document Fees

Supplying a medical laboratory technologist any document for the purpose of seeking registration overseas shall be $30.00.
