Pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land that is vested in the Minister of Education pursuant to section 143 (2) of the Education Act 1989, is hereby set apart for education purposes and shall remain vested in the Crown from the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(a) The stopped road firstly described shall be dealt with as Crown Land (Riverbed) under the Land Act 1948.
(b) Pursuant to section 120 (3), the stopped road secondly described shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Register 23729.
