Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation Incorporated
The Board of Skill New Zealand – Pūkenga Aotearoa, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992 and having consulted with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, afforded recognition to the Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation Incorporated to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the building and construction, fibrous plastering, solid plastering, tiling, and cement and concrete industries for a further period of five years with effect from 5 January 2003.

Plastics Industry Training Organisation Incorporated
The Board of Skill New Zealand – Pūkenga Aotearoa, hereby gives notice that on 31 October 2002, it recognised that the Plastics Industry Training Organisation Incorporated has formally changed its name to the Plastics and Materials Processing Industry Training Organisation, and that the gazetted coverage for the industry training organisation remains the plastics industry, with effect from 31 October 2002.

Defence Force Allowance Amendment 2002/2
Pursuant to section 124 (1) (d) of the Social Security Act 1964, the Minister of Social Services and Employment establishes and approves the following Amendment to the Defence Force Allowance Programme (as established and approved on 29 October 1999).

Title—(1) This is the Defence Force Allowance Amendment 2002/2.
(2) In this amendment, the Defence Force Allowance Programme is called “the programme”.

Commencement—This amendment comes into effect on the day after the date on which it is approved by the Minister.

Schedule amended—The Schedule of the programme is amended by adding the following paragraphs:
- NZDF personnel deployed in high risk operations in support of “Operation Nettle” with a high environmental factor.
NZ$120 per day
An amount of or between NZ$12.00 and NZ$54.90 per day set by the chief executive based on the location of deployment and the level of cost for that location having regard to Chapter 6, Annex A of Defence Force Order No. 5.
- NZDF personnel deployed in high risk operations in support of “Operation Nettle” with a medium environmental factor.
NZ$110 per day
An amount of or between NZ$12.00 and NZ$54.90 per day set by the chief executive based on the location of deployment and the level of cost for that location having regard to Chapter 6, Annex A of Defence Force Order No. 5.
- NZDF personnel deployed in high risk operations in support of “Operation Nettle” with no environmental factor.
NZ$100 per day
An amount of or between NZ$12.00 and NZ$54.90 per day set by the chief executive based on the location of deployment and the level of cost for that location having regard to Chapter 6, Annex A of Defence Force Order No. 5.
- NZDF personnel deployed in medium risk operations in support of “Operation Nettle” with a high environmental factor.
NZ$85 per day
An amount of or between NZ$12.00 and NZ$54.90 per day set by the chief executive based on the location of deployment and the level of cost for that location having regard to Chapter 6, Annex A of Defence Force Order No. 5.
- NZDF personnel deployed in medium risk operations in support of “Operation Nettle” with a medium environmental factor.
NZ$75 per day
An amount of or between NZ$12.00 and NZ$54.90 per day set by the chief executive based on the location of deployment and the level of cost for that location having regard to Chapter 6, Annex A of Defence Force Order No. 5.
- NZDF personnel deployed in medium risk operations in support of “Operation Nettle” with no environmental factor.
NZ$65 per day
An amount of or between NZ$12.00 and NZ$54.90 per day set by the chief executive based on the location of deployment and the level of cost for that location having regard to Chapter 6, Annex A of Defence Force Order No. 5.
- NZDF personnel deployed in low risk operations in support of “Operation Nettle” with a high environmental factor.
NZ$55 per day
An amount of or between NZ$12.00 and NZ$54.90 per day set by the chief executive based on the location of deployment and the level of cost for that location having regard to Chapter 6, Annex A of Defence Force Order No. 5.
