Corrigendum—Setting Apart Land as a Māori Reservation

In the notice with the above heading dated 6 August 2001,
published in the New Zealand Gazette, 16 August 2001,
No. 90, page 2330, the area set aside as a Māori Reservation
be amended to read

"1600 square metres"

and not

"1600 hectares".

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act
1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the
Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose
of a marae for the common use and benefit of the
descendants of Te Whanau-A-Kouma Tapihana and
the descendants of Ngatai Retireti.

South Auckland Land District

All that piece of land situated in Block XII, Rotorua Survey
District and described as follows:

Area Being
ha 0.1011 Waiteti 2A1A2B, Section 5 Block.

Notice Redefining Purposes for Whose Use and Benefit a Māori Reservation is Set Apart

The Māori Freehold land described in the Schedule hereto
was set apart as a Māori reservation by notice in the
New Zealand Gazette, 28 June 1962, No. 41, page 1004, for
the class of persons therein stated and, pursuant to section
439 (5) (c) of the Māori Affairs Act 1953, the purposes
the Māori Reservation has been set apart is hereby redefined
as a recreation ground and meeting place including housing
for the common use and benefit of the members of the
Ngatihine tribe.

Schedule

North Auckland Land District

All that piece of land situated in Block VII, Motatau Survey
District and described as follows:

Area Being
ha 4.3731 Motatau 2, Section 48B1 and being the land
    contained in the Partition Order of the Māori
    Land Court dated 26 January 1950. |

Declaring Māori Freehold Land to be Included in a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (2) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act
1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the
Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby declared to be included in the existing Māori
reservation in respect of the land known as Pariroa A and B
which was set apart for the purpose of a place of historical
interest, village and meeting place for the common use
and benefit of the owners by notice published in the
New Zealand Gazette, 8 April 1926, No. 21, page 908.

Taranaki Land District

All that piece of land situated in Block VII, Carlyle Survey
District and described as follows:

Area Being
2826 Section 79, Patea Suburban; as shown on
    S.O. Plan 11701 and filed in the Māori Land
    Court. |
