3.2

The following waters, and all their tributaries, are restricted to fly fishing and spinner only:

Akatarawa River.
Hutt River.
Mangaohane Stream.
Pakuratahi River.
Pourangaki River.
Rangitikei River and its tributaries upstream of the Matawhero Road Bridge (commonly called the Mangaohane Bridge).
Tokomaru River.
Waingawa River.
Whakatikei River.

3.3

Bait fishing is allowed in all other waters.

DAILY BAG LIMITS

4.1

No licence holder shall take, kill or be in possession of more than 1 trout in the following waters:

Akatarawa River.
Hautapu River upstream of the road bridge numbered 741/10.96 on State Highway No. 1 by the Taihape Golf Club.
Hutt River.
Makuri River.
Manawatu River upstream of its confluence with the Mangatewainui Stream.
Mangaohane Stream.
Mangatarere Stream.
Pakuratahi Stream.
Pourangaki River.
Rangitikei River and its tributaries upstream of the confluence of Otarere Stream.
Tokomaru River.
Upper Kourarau Dam.
Waikanae River.
Wainuiomata River.
Whakatikei River.
All waters upstream of the boundaries of the Ruahine, Tararua and Rimutaka Forest Parks.

4.2

No licence holder shall take, kill or be in possession of more than 4 trout in the following waters:

Rangitikei River upstream of the Matawhero Road Bridge (commonly called Mangaohane Bridge) up to the confluence of the Otarere Stream.

4.3

There is no limit in all other waters.
