Part-time School Speed Limit Zones Trial Amendment Notice

Pursuant to section 78 of the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to a sub-delegation to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety by an instrument dated 3 May 1999, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager Safer Roads, hereby amend the “Part-time School Speed Limit Zones” notice dated 9 December 1999* and issued pursuant to section 78 of the Transport Act 1962, by:

(a) revoking those provisions in Schedule 2 of the notice dated 9 December 1999* specified in Schedule 1 of this notice; and

(b) inserting in Schedule 2 of the notice dated 9 December 1999* those provisions specified in Schedule 2 of this notice.

Schedule 1
Duration of the Trial

The period of the part-time school speed limit zones trial shall start after 24 January 2000 and shall end on 20 December 2001.

The part-time school speed limit zones trial shall apply to all signs specified in this Schedule.

Schedule 2
Duration of the Trial

The period of the Part-time school speed limit zones trial shall start after 24 January 2000 and shall end on 30 June 2002.

The part-time school speed limit zones trial shall apply to all signs specified in this Schedule.

Declaration of Vehicle With Motorcycle Controls to be a Motorcycle

Water Recreation Regulations 1979

The Water Recreation (Waikato River) Notice 2002

I, John Norman Keith Mansell, Divisional Manager, Maritime Operations, pursuant to Regulation 18 of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979* and in exercise of powers delegated to me pursuant to section 257A of the Harbours Act 1950 and section 443 of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, hereby give the following notice.

Notice

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Waikato River) Notice 2002.

(b) This notice shall come into force on 22 February 2002 and shall remain in force until 24 February 2002 at 11.00 a.m.

2. That section of the Waikato River from a straight line directly across the river between the Fletchers Water intake to the top of the Huka Falls is designated a reserved area and is closed to all water-based activities and navigation.
