Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes—Gisborne District

Pursuant to sections 20 and 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and vested in the Gisborne District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road Realignment—State Highway No. 63, Chinaman’s Creek, Wairau River, Marlborough District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 63 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 63 and shall remain vested in the Crown.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3), amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 5D/1443, subject to easement certificates 135408.9 and 201193.6, consent notice 201193.5 and mortgage No. 205384.4.

Road Realignment—Snooks Road, Whangarei District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the Whangarei District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 (1) and 117 (3), declares the portions of road described in the Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Schedules to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3), declares that:

(i) The areas described in the Second Schedule shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 85A/879, subject to memorandum of mortgage C. 384641.2.

(ii) The area described in the Third Schedule shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 118C/53, subject to memorandum of mortgage 233350.2 and subject to the granting of an easement right to transmit electricity over the southern portion of the Scheduled land being to the south of an extension of the north-western boundary of easement area marked “A” on D.P. 188368 to the road.

(iii) The areas described in the Fourth Schedule shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 115D/993.

(iv) The areas described in the Fifth Schedule shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 118C/381.

(v) The areas described in the Sixth Schedule shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 121A/595.
