Land Declared as Road (Service Lane), Land Granted as Compensation and Land Declared to be Reserve—Service Lane, Te Anau

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation
from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert
Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, the land described in the
First Schedule to this notice to be road (service lane) and
vested in the Southland District Council on the date of
publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 106, the land described in the
Second Schedule to this notice to be granted as
compensation and amalgamated with the land in certificate
of title SL11C/135, subject to all existing encumbrances.

(c) Pursuant to section 20, the land described in the
Third Schedule to this notice to be recreation reserve,
subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and vested in the
Southland District Council on the date of publication of this
notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Reserves Act 1977

Change of the Classification of Part of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation changes the classification of that part of
the reserve described in the Schedule from a recreation
reserve to a local purpose (community buildings) reserve,
subject to the provisions of the Act.

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation notifies that the following resolution
was passed by the Banks Peninsula District Council on
18 October 2000:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by
section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Banks
Peninsula District Council hereby resolves that the
piece of land held by it in fee simple, and described in
the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby
declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning
of the said Act.”

6717 square metres, being Lot 11, D.P. 13299. All
