Bylaw Concerning the Stopping and Parking of Vehicles on State Highways: Transit New Zealand Regions 7 and 8
Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand makes the following bylaw.
Bylaw

Title and commencement—This bylaw may be cited as the Transit New Zealand Bylaw (Stopping and Parking of Vehicles on State Highways) 2002/6 and shall come into force 28 days after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Interpretation—In this bylaw:
“Motor vehicle” has the meaning assigned to it in section 2 (1) of the Transport Act 1962. -
Prohibiting stopping and parking of vehicles—The stopping and parking of motor vehicles is prohibited on the sections of State highway described in the printed and bound Schedule held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Wanganui, and in the State Highway Management Division of Transit New Zealand Head Office, Wellington, and there available for public inspection.
This bylaw was made by resolution passed at a meeting of the Transit New Zealand Authority held in Wellington on 3 April 2002.

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand makes the following bylaw.
