Declaration That Private Land be Protected

Private Land

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager of the Northland Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation declares that the private land described in
the Schedule be protected private land for scenic purposes,
subject to the provisions of the Act.

Amendment to a Notice—Revocation of the

Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying

the Manner of Disposal and How to
Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of
Conservation amends an error in the notice with the above
heading dated 8 February 2002 and published in the
New Zealand Gazette, 28 February 2002, page 554, by
omitting from the notice the words

“Waikato District Council”

and inserting in their place

“South Waikato District Council”.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Part of a

Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and

How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the
Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as
a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule
and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Tasman
District Council at current market value, the proceeds of
such sale to be paid into the council’s land subdivision
reserves account, to be used or applied in or towards
the improvement of other reserves under the control of the
council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for
reserves.

583 square metres, more or less, being Lot 3, D.P. 306483.
Part C.T. 12C/735.

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation notifies that the following resolution was
passed by the Banks Peninsula District Council on 15 June
2001:

“In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14
of the Reserves Act 1977, the Banks Peninsula District
Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by it
in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto,
shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a local
purpose (historic site) reserve within the meaning of
section 23 of the said Act.”

Canterbury Land District—Banks Peninsula District
9.6087 hectares, being Lot 1, D.P. 76825. Subject to
easements created by transfers 658837 and A. 336460.1. All
certificate of title 40A/795.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Reserve for

Other Land

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager, Southland Conservancy, Department of
Conservation, authorises the exchange of that reserve
land described in the First Schedule for the land described in
the Second Schedule.

Southland Land District—Invercargill City

First Schedule
1796 square metres, more or less, being Lot 15, D.P. 5512,
C.T. 1A/598; and

1422 square metres, more or less, being Lot 16, D.P. 9879.

Second Schedule
569 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 288,

134 square metres, more or less, being Lot 2, D.P. 5863,
C.T. 226/29;

506 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 5863,
