Declaring Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes—Dunedin City

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Otago Regional Council.

Road Realignment—State Highway No. 49, West of Waiouru, Ruapehu District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 119, declares the severance described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be taken and further declares:

(i) Section 12 shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 40B/912.

(ii) Section 13 shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 40B/911.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3), further declares:

(i) Section 17 shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 40B/911.

(ii) Section 1 shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 40B/912.
