Notes:
- Summarised objections have been allocated under the proposed electorate where the area specified in the objection is located. For example, if an objector stated an objection to, say, Pyes Pa being located in the proposed Rotorua Electorate OR objected to Pyes Pa not being in the Bay of Plenty Electorate, then in both cases the objection has been assigned to the proposed Rotorua Electorate.
- It is recommended that people interested in a particular electorate should also look at objections relating to neighbouring electorates as these could affect the electorate they are concerned with.

Objects to the classification of the Northland electorate as an ‘F’ electorate, as it is one of the four ‘F’ electorates with a greater geographical area than the two ‘G’ electorates (Taupo and Taranaki-King Country).
Suggested solution Move this electorate and the other three large ‘F’ electorates (Kaikoura, Otago and Clutha-Southland) into the ‘G’ classification.

Objects to the name ‘Northcote’ for the proposed electorate as this does not reflect the community of interest of much of the proposed electorate.
Suggested solution A neutral name would be more appropriate, such as the name ‘Northbridge’.

Objection L & J Hennessy
Objects to the inclusion of Greenhithe in the proposed Helensville electorate as its community of interest and location fall within the scope of North Shore.
Suggested solution Extend the North Shore boundary to include its immediate neighbour Greenhithe.
