The Traffic (Auckland City) Notice 2002
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Auckland City) Notice 2002.

The roads specified in the Schedule are excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of that Act.
Schedule
SITUATED within Auckland City.
The South Eastern Highway:
(a) From a point 45 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from the eastern kerb alignment of Great South Road to a point 56 metres measured westerly generally from the western kerb alignment of Carbine Road.
(b) From a point 55 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from the eastern kerb alignment of Carbine Road to the Pakuranga Bridge western abutment.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Westland District) Notice No. 2, 2002.

I hereby declare those localities and roads within markings identified in the Legend of and appearing on plan numbered LT0265/2, entitled βWestland District Speed Restrictions at Rossβ and held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority, to be closely populated localities at all times, as may be ascertained from the Legend. The said plan and Legend are hereby incorporated in this notice.

This notice revokes and is in substitution for The Traffic (Westland County) Notice No. 1, 1976* issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
