Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to section 128 or 129 of the Sentencing Act 2002, on 26 November 2002 at the Tauranga District Court, Kotamai Kokere-Craig Wikotu was convicted of the following offence – driving with excess breath alcohol level – and in addition to the sentence imposed on him, the Court has ordered that a 1985 Mazda motor vehicle, Registration No. MJ4509 owned by the above-mentioned defendant, be forfeited to Her Majesty, pursuant to section 136 of the Sentencing Act 2002.

Notice of Appointment of a Limited Statutory Manager at Broadwood Area School (6)

Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager to Broadwood Area School because of risks to the operation of the school.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are vested in the limited statutory manager:

• Personnel management, including staff appointments;
• industrial relations; and
• media management.

The limited statutory manager must also:

• provide mentoring and support for the board; and
• advise the board on financial management practices.

This notice takes effect the day after the publication of this notice.
