Acting District Court Judge Appointed
Pursuant to section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947, and
section 7 of the Family Courts Act 1980, Her Excellency the
Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
Brinsley Donald Inglis, Q.C., retired District Court Judge
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and
criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand, at such place or places
and for such period or periods only as the Chief District
Court Judge may fix, pursuant to the said section 10A of
the District Courts Act 1947, and also to exercise the
jurisdiction of the Family Courts, pursuant to section 7 of
the Family Courts Act 1980, for a term of nine months on
and from 21 November 2002.

I, John Whitehead, Acting Secretary to the Treasury, hereby
give notice that on 24 July 2001, I first became aware
that the Crown was vested, under section 324 (1) of the
Companies Act 1993 (by virtue of the removal of
Palmerston North Vehicle Testing Station Limited from
the Register of Companies on 29 May 2000 pursuant to
section 318 (1) (e) of the Companies Act 1993) with
rights as mortgagee under mortgage No. B. 694072.2
registered against certificate of title 41D/458, Wellington
Land Registry.

The Traffic (Manukau City) Notice 2002
Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962
and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and
pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the
Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated
9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads,
give the following notice.
Notice
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Manukau City)
Notice 2002. -
Those localities and roads within the boundaries of
Manukau City shown on the plans entitled “Manukau
City Roading Speed Restrictions” and numbered LT0206/1
(1 of 3), LT0206/1 (2 of 3) and LT0206/1 (3 of 3), and held
by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority,
and indicated by markings in accordance with the legend on
those Plans, are declared to be:
(a) closely populated localities at all times with a
maximum speed limit of 50 kilometres an hour,
pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962;
or
(b) excluded from the limitations as to the speed
imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act
1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of that Act; or
(c) excluded from the limitations as to the speed
imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act
1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of that Act, and
declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit
areas, pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic
Regulations 1976;
as may be ascertained from the legend. The plans and legends are hereby incorporated into this notice.
- (a) The notice signed on 4 September 1959 entitled
“Closely Populated Localities Declared and
Revoking an Exclusion from Speed Limitation”*
applying to Manukau County adjacent to Howick
Borough is revoked.
(b) Those parts of the Schedule of The Traffic
(Pakuranga Motorway) Notice No. 1, 1974** that
relate to roads within Manukau City are revoked.
(c) The Traffic (Manukau City) Notice No. 1, 1990***
is revoked.
