Civil Aviation Act 1990

Summary of Exemptions Granted by the Director of Civil Aviation

Pursuant to section 37 (3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given that the Director of Civil Aviation has granted the following exemptions:

Five exemptions from the requirement in Civil Aviation Rule 91.529 (a) – Requirement for an automatic ELT. Reference: 3/EXE/20, 3/EXE/23, 3/EXE/24, 3/EXE/25, 3/EXE/29.

One exemption from the requirement in Civil Aviation Rule 137.259 (3) – Requirement for agricultural aircraft to have jettison gear. Reference: 3/EXE/26.

Three exemptions from the requirements in Civil Aviation Rule 61.5 (h) and 137.3 (1) – Requirement for an agricultural rating. Reference: 3/EXE/27, 3/EXE/30, 3/EXE/31.

Notice of the grant, withdrawal or denial of exemptions with provisos is published in the Civil Aviation Rules Register Information Leaflet (CARRIL).

For the provisos, refer to issue dated 7 November 2002.

The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1997 (No. 3) Amendment Notice No. 5

Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Amendment Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1997 (No. 3) Amendment Notice No. 5.

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Schedule amended—The Schedule of the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1997 (No. 3) is amended by omitting the name “On Energy Limited” and substituting the name “NGC Generation Holdings Limited” in its appropriate alphabetical order.
