Reserves Act 1977
Declaration That Land is a Reserve—Western Bay of Plenty District
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Western Bay of Plenty District Council hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Western Bay of Plenty District Council on 5 October 2002:
“THAT, pursuant to sections 14 and 23 of the Reserves Act 1977 and in compliance with sections 119 and 120 of the Reserves Act 1977, Council hereby resolves to vest an area of 20 square metres, more or less, being shown as Section 11 on Survey Office Plan 61747 as ‘Local Purpose Segregation Reserve’.”

Pursuant to section 338 (5) (b) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 23 July 1957, No. 55, page 1420, is hereby cancelled.

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold lands described in the Schedule hereto are hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of the protection of fauna, flora and wahi tapu, to be known as Te Ranga for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Henare and Wiremu Hoori.
