The Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice No. 4, 2002

Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and
Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976,
and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by
the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand
dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer
Roads, give the following notice:

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Selwyn District)
    Notice No. 4, 2002.

  2. I hereby declare those localities and roads within
    markings identified in the legend of and appearing on plan
    numbered LT 0259/4, entitled “Selwyn District Roading
    Speed Restrictions at Darfield” and held by the Head Office
    of the Land Transport Safety Authority, to be:

    (a) closely populated localities at all times for the
    purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962; or

    (b) 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to
    Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976;

    as may be ascertained from the legend. The said plan and
    legend are hereby incorporated into this notice.

  3. The Traffic (Malvern County) Notice No. 1, 1988* dated
    15 April 1988 and issued pursuant to section 52 of the
    Transport Act 1962 and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic
    Regulations 1976 is revoked.

Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and
Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976,
and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by
the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand
dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer
Roads, give the following notice.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Selwyn District)
    Notice No. 5, 2002.

  2. Those localities and roads on the plan numbered
    LT 0259/5, entitled “Selwyn District Speed Restrictions at
    Whitecliffs” and held by the Head Office of the Land
    Transport Safety Authority, and indicated by markings in
    accordance with the legend on that plan, are declared to be:

    (a) closely populated localities, pursuant to section 52 of
    the Transport Act 1962, for the period commencing
    with the Friday before Labour Day Weekend in each
    year and ending with the Tuesday following Easter
    in each following year; or

    (b) 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to
    Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976,
    for the period commencing with the Wednesday

following Easter in each year and ending with the
Thursday before Labour Day Weekend in the same
year;

as may be ascertained from the legend. The plan and legend
are hereby incorporated into this notice.

  1. All of The Traffic (Malvern County) Notice No. 1,
    1987* dated 22 May 1987 is revoked.

dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer
Roads, give the following notice:

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Westland District)
    Notice 2002.

  2. The road specified in the Schedule is declared to be a
    closely populated locality at all times for the purposes of
    section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The Traffic (Westland County) Notice No. 2, 1969*
    dated 13 March 1969 and issued pursuant to the Transport
    Act 1962 and the Traffic Regulations 1956 is revoked.
