Reserves Act 1977

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes, Declaring Conservation Land to be a Reserve and Vesting Reserve in Hurunui District Council

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes and further declares that the conservation area described in the Schedule shall be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the latter Act, and, under section 26 of the Reserves Act 1977, vests the reserve in the Hurunui District Council in trust for recreation purposes.

Canterbury Land District—Hurunui District

4648 square metres, being Lot 1, D.P. 75962. All certificate of title 43D/95. Subject to right of way contained in transfers A331600.1, A331600.2 and A331600.3.

Land Act 1948

Reserves Act 1977

Reservation of Land

Under the Land Act 1948, the Conservator of the West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977.

350.7744 hectares, more or less, being Section 49, Block VI, Waitakere Survey District (S.O. 2359) and sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6, S.O. 302306.

Amendment to a Notice Setting Apart Land as a Reserve

Under the Land Act 1948, the Conservator for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation amends an error in the notice setting apart land as a recreation reserve dated 15 May 2000 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 25 May 2000, No. 56, page 1216, by omitting from the notice in the Schedule “Document 5000606.”

Appointment of the Nelson City Council as Controlling Authority of the Barnicoat Walkway

Under the New Zealand Walkways Act 1990, the Conservator for the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation appoints the Nelson City Council to be the controlling authority of the Barnicoat Walkway described in the Schedule.

Public Works Act 1981

Land Declared Limited Access Road—State Highway No. 1, Albany–Puhoi, Rodney District

Pursuant to section 114 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
