Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990 listed in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

Conditions
(i) A two-point lap seat belt that complies with the appropriate vehicle standard is fitted to the left-hand rear outer sitting position.
(ii) All other sitting positions are fitted with the seat belts required by Regulation 29.
(iii) All seat belts must be securely anchored to the vehicle and seat belt anchorages that are not the vehicle manufacturer’s original equipment must comply with Specification St 120395.
(iv) This exemption may be revoked at any time.
(v) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and be readily available for inspection.

Maritime Rules Part 21—Notice of Exemption From Rule 21.13 (6)
I, Russell Paul Kilvington, Director of Maritime Safety, hereby give notice, pursuant to sections 47 (2) (b) (i) and (iii), and 47 (3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, as follows:
Maritime Management Services Limited (MMS) (a safe ship management company approved under Rule 21.12 of the Maritime Rules) is exempt from the requirement to perform an initial audit on any ship that enters the MMS safe ship management system, provided that the ship has, immediately prior to entry into the MMS system, a current safe ship management certificate issued by Survey Auckland Limited (a safe ship management company approved under Rule 21.12 of the Maritime Rules).
This exemption expires 3 months after the date it is made.

Public Works Act 1981
Easements Acquired—Waiau Pa Road, Franklin District
Pursuant to sections 20 and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, right of way easements in perpetuity are acquired over the land described in the First and Second Schedules to this notice appurtenant to the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice, subject to the rights and powers of clause 1 of the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952, provided that the said rights and powers shall be varied to additionally permit the Crown, its servants, tenants, agents, tradespersons, licensees and invitees and all persons authorised by the Crown from time to time and at all times by day and by night and at the Crown’s will and pleasure to stop, leave and park motor vehicles on the land described in the Second Schedule for any and all reasonable purpose or activity undertaken on the appurtenant land described in the Third Schedule, and the owner of the servient land shall have the right to use the easement areas itself and at no cost in construction or maintenance (unless it causes damage), and the easements are vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
