NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
No. 1
- New driver licences
4.1 Clause 12A 2.4 of the programme is amended:
(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) the expression “$63.50” and substituting the expression “$79.00”.
(b) by omitting from paragraph (b) the expression “$74.50” and substituting the expression “$88.20”;
(c) by omitting from paragraph (c) the expression “$105.00” and substituting the expression “$115.10”:
Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the amendment but is intended to explain its general effect.
This amendment to the Recoverable Assistance Programme increases the maximum amounts of grants for applying for a driver licence or renewing an existing driver licence to take account of changes to driver licensing fees. The amendment also brings the age groups in the programme into consistency with those in the Land Transport (Driver Licensing and Driver Testing Fees) Amendment Regulations 2001.
